Love Ireland, Love Fire, Love Design!

Love Ireland, Love Fire, Love Design! Image

Wow! Environmental design at it's best by the super team at Fire! We were happy as frogs to work  on the design and installation of the stunning new Dublin Visitor Centre there at 17 Lower O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, didn't you know.

Our skilled technicians Jacek and Daniel are pictured above fitting the truly sublime map, a collaboration with Fire and the Big Lebowski of illustration, Peter Donnelly. Stay tuned in folks as we will be posting more glorious detail on the Dublin Visitor Centre project on our Fire website, hot projects section!

Our thanks to photographer Adam Carroll for the great snap!

Making of a Cover

Making of a Cover Image

WARNING! Watching this short will cause your jaw to drop, followed by involuntary joyful shrieking, which could persist for 5 to 10 minutes. If this is all too much for a Monday then click away now.

If you have stayed to watch then I can tell you this cover for Novum was design by Paperlux, Design Studio and self proclaimed paper fetishist from Hamburg, Germany. The design itself is just so clever, beautiful and well, down right extraordinary. To create the flexibility of the cover they were inspired by Buckminster Fuller who was an American engineer, systems theorist, author, designer, inventor and futurist. A man, I admit, I had not heard of until now(for shame). But I look forward to learning more about Bucky as he was it seems  a very interesting chap.

If you want to get yourself a copy you can buy Novum online from stiebner.

The Healthy Birth Directory

The Healthy Birth Directory Image

We designed The Healthy Birth Directory for the West of Ireland! It's back from the printers and ready for the official launch on Tuesday March 8th! The brochure published by AIMS Ireland and edited by Tara Durkin & Sorcha Kearney Wolnik is a new, independent resource for women and families planning to have a baby in the West of Ireland. It was great working with Tara & Sorcha and we wish them all the best for launch night!
